Honey Topped Corn Bread
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour

2/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup corn meal

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups milk

2 large eggs, slightly beaten

1/3 cup vegetable oil

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1/3 cup honey
Method

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a square pan.

Combine flour, sugar, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in bowl. Combine milk, eggs, vegetable oil and butter in another small bowl. Mix well.

Add to flour mixture and stir just until blended. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 35 minutes until wooden pick inserted is clean when pulled out.

Pour 1/3 cup honey in a dribble fashion all over the top when you pull it out of the oven.
