Bavarian Pear (or Peach) Tart
Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1/3 cup sugar

3/4 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

8 ounces cream cheese

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup sugar
Method

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix butter, sugar. Add flour and vanilla and press into 8x8" pan. Bake 20 minutes @ 350F (not longer). Cool.

Blend cream cheese, egg, vanilla and sugar. Pour over cooled crust. Arrange sliced pears on top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
