Hot Spicy Chicken Strips

Ingredients

  • 5 chicken breast half without skin, cut into strips
  • olive oil spray
  • Red Hot Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • Blue Cheese Dip:
  • 1/4 lb. blue cheese
  • 1 cup nonfat sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Method

  • Place strips on sheet pan and place in 400F oven for about 8-10 minutes or until slightly golden.
  • Remove chicken from oven. Pour off fat and pour sauce over chicken. Return to oven, turning once or twice, until sauce is bubbly for about 8 mintues.
  • Take chicken out of oven and serve with blue cheese dip and celery sticks, if desired.
