Maria's Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 loaves French sweet (soft, not artisan) bread
- 1 lb. butter
- 6 large eggs
- milk to cover bread (overnight)
- about 4 cups sugar
- vanilla
- rum
- raisins
- chopped pecans
Method
- Mix eggs and butter in mixer and then add to bread and milk mixture. Add rest of ingredients and bake at 350 for about one hour.
